Childbirth Education Class Series - Understanding Birth

Our Understanding Birth Class Series is facilitated and taught by a CVMC Registered Nurse and offers essential information on labor and delivery, comfort techniques, medial procedures, cesarean birth, and newborn and postpartum care. It also highlights different ways partners can help thoughout the process. A tour of the Birthing Center is also included with the class. A $50.00 registration fee covers the complete series of four (4) classes per couple. Each series meets monthly on Wednesdays from 5:00pm-7:00pm. All classes meet in The POD located on the Entry Level of the Pavilion, Center for Women and Children. Monthly series options are listed below.

-May 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th

-June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th

-July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th

-August 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

-September 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

-October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

-November 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th (tenetive due to Thanksgiving holiday)

-December 3rd, 10th, 17th, 22nd (tenetive due to Christmas holiday)
