HICKORY, NC – December 14, 2015 – Catawba Valley Medical Center (CVMC) is hosting a book signing
event with Michele McCreary, author of
No, No, Miss Kitty Kat!, on Wednesday, December 16 from 1 – 2:30 pm in the hospital lobby
in front of the gift shop.
No, No, Miss Kitty Kat! is Michele’s first book and gives a charming look into the world
of a cat who finds a new family’s rules confusing. Children can
follow Miss Kitty Kat’s adventure as she discovers the true meaning
of family love in this humorous account of dogs and cats and caring family
members. Michele will be signing books that will be available for purchase
at the Gift Shop located in the new lobby at CVMC. Proceeds from the event
will go toward the volunteer efforts at the hospital to support patient care.
Michele, who grew up in California, married Caldwell County native Bob
McCreary in 1985 and together they started McCreary Modern in 1986. Over
the past 30 years, Bob and Michele have been involved with a number of
local institutions, including CVMC. That relationship grew into the desire
to support the campaign for CVMC’s new pavilion and the Level III
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Michele also serves as a member of CVMC’s
Board of Trustees.
