Oct. 1 Update for Patients with UnitedHealthcare

Catawba Valley Health System (CVHS) is disappointed to announce that UnitedHealthcare (UHC) has chosen to terminate its contract with us as of October 1 for services within our medical center. We will, however, continue to work with UHC to negotiate a new contract that ensures in-network coverage for all our services long-term. In the interim, those covered by UHC may still access our hospital services as if your plan is still in-network. We will continue to honor your plan as we seek a resolution for a new contract with UHC.
