About
A native of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Dr. Brooks received his undergraduate
bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia. He then received
his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in
1996. Dr. Brooks went on to Columbia, SC to complete his internship and
residency in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of South
Carolina School of Medicine in conjunction with Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Brooks and his wife Janet have 4 children, who he enjoys spending time
with. He’s an avid sports fan and especially enjoys rooting for
his alma maters: the UVA Cavaliers and the WVU Mountaineers.
