About
Dr. Cody Wingler has been a lifelong resident of Alexander County. He was
born in Taylorsville, grew up in Hiddenite, and now lives in Bethlehem
with his wife and their two children. He enjoys running any distance from
5ks to Ultra Marathons. He serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church
of Hickory and sings on the praise team. He went to the Brody School of
Medicine at East Carolina University and completed residency at Vidant
Medical Center in Greenville. Areas of clinical expertise and interest
include chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure), preventative
care, as well as Sports Medicine (including joint injection). He is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
