These practices work closely with employers to provide a medical practice onsite within an employer’s facility. A medical provider, a clinical support person and a wellness coordinator are dedicated to the employer, helping them keep employees healthy and productive with little down-time from work. We currently have medical practices in the following locations:

Employee Health Connection

Employee Health Connection (EHC) is a medical home for ALL Catawba County employees - permanent, hourly & part-time. Appointments are required for preventive visits; other services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

EHC is a joint partnership between Catawba County Government and Catawba Valley Medical Group in order to provide Catawba County employees and their family members affordable, convenient access to medical care.

In addition to treating employees, EHC will also see:

Spouses who are covered under the County’s health insurance plan.
Adult children, ages 18 - 26, who are covered under the County’s health insurance plan.
Dependents of employees, ages 5 - 17, even if not covered under the County’s health insurance plan.

You may be asked to provide your insurance card and social security number during the registration process.

Cash, check, debit/credit card or HSA/FSA cards are accepted.

Catawba County reserves the right to make changes to this program as necessary.

Sherrill Clinic

CVFHC-Sherrill Clinic is a medical home for all Sherrill Furniture employees electing Sherrill Furniture’s health insurance plan and their spouses, if the spouse is covered on Sherrill Furniture insurance plan.

Appointments are required for preventive visits; other services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and it is recommended that employees call the clinic to schedule an appointment to minimize time away from their work.

CVFHC-Sherrill Clinic is a joint partnership between Sherrill Furniture and Catawba Valley Medical Group in order to provide covered Sherrill Furniture employees and their spouses’ affordable, convenient access to medical care.
