Our providers welcome you to our family medicine practice. The top priority of our providers and staff is helping you and your loved ones prevent illness and maintain physical and emotional well-being by providing medical care and recommending healthy lifestyle choices. Our practice manages acute and chronic illnesses, treats acute injuries, performs minor office surgeries and, when necessary, refers you to an appropriate specialist. After-Hours Physician
To speak with a Catawba Valley Medical Group provider afterhours, please call: 828.324.0258. This service provides direct access to the on-call provider, not a triage phone line, to increase access to care and is intended for medical questions or concerns. Please call 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.

Weekend After-Hours Care:
The convenience of extended office hours is provided by Catawba Valley Family Medicine - Maiden to all Catawba Valley Medical Group patients on Saturdays 9am – 1pm. Click here for more information.

Patient Portal:
Click here to access the Catawba Valley Medical Group Patient Portal where you will have the ability to access notifications, specific results, medical information and appointment details directly from your Healthcare Provider. Patients Age 13-17 will not have access to the Patient Portal effective 10/1/2022.

Our Providers

Kim Cline, RN, FNP

Kim Cline completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne University.

She worked as a nurse in the operating room for 34 years. She helped to establish an open heart operating suite at Rex Hospital in Raleigh North Carolina. After moving back to Catawba County, she furthered her degree at East Tennessee State University to obtain her Masters in Nursing as a FNP and is board certified.

Graduating in 2003, she has worked in family practice. In 2007, she opened her own private clinic and has been serving Catawba County as the primary provider at Family Healthcare Practice. Her clinic has prided itself in making a difference and being a place where the "patient matters most". She is excited to continue with these priorities with Catawba Valley Medical Center-Conover. She enjoys lake life, Gamecock football, the beach and spending time with her 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Reece Moose, PA-C

Reece Moose is a Hickory native who now resides in the Stony Point community with her husband and their two dogs, Oakley and Maisy. Reece obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Exercise Science from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Reece went on to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Pfeiffer University. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and she focuses on improving the health of each patient as a whole. Reece states her calling to serve in healthcare has been made clear to her, she has a dedicated interest in all age ranges, but is specifically drawn to the pediatric population.

Reece enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, being outdoors, and being creative with art. Reece is an active member in her home church and enjoys serving God’s Kingdom.
