HICKORY, NC – October 9, 2015 — Catawba Valley Medical Group (CVMG) announced today the addition
of Family Nurse Practitioner, Whitney Patterson to Catawba Valley Cardiology,
its specialty practice treating a broad spectrum of heart conditions.
“Whitney will help us meet the growing needs of heart patients in
the area with greater access to evaluate, treat and manage general and
specialized cardiac conditions,” said Brian McGinnis, CVMG Executive Director.
Most recently employed by Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, Whitney
Patterson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of
North Carolina, Charlotte, where she also obtained a Family Nurse Practitioner
degree. Catawba Valley Cardiology is located near the Catawba Valley Medical
