About
Prior to completing her residency at Vidant Medical Center in obstetrics
and gynecology, Dr. Thornton completed her medical degree at the Edward
Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She is a member of the American Medical Association and the
American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
While she is away from work she enjoys spending time with her husband and
two young sons.
