Our Heart Center staff partners with Catawba Valley Cardiology’s providers to deliver a team-oriented approach to patient heart issues, with a high level of technical expertise.

In 2017, the Heart Center received Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The ACC is the professional home for the entire cardiovascular care team. The mission of the College and its more than 52,000 members is to transform cardiovascular care and to improve heart health. It leads in the formation of health policy, standards and guidelines and operates national registries to measure and improve care, offers cardiovascular accreditation to hospitals and institutions, provides professional medical education, disseminates cardiovascular research and bestows credentials upon cardiovascular specialists who meet stringent qualifications.

The hospital also earned Primary PCI Accreditation from the ACC.

With 24/7 coverage in our Catheterization Lab, CVMC is prepared to handle any emergent heart problem swiftly and efficiently.
