Critical Care Unit
The Critical Care Unit cares for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients
needing acute, critical, or intensive care. Contracted services provide
hemodialysis treatment for patients throughout the facility that require
this service.
Services
Critical Care Unit: The CCU consists of 16 beds as well as 4 overflow rooms. Services provided
and procedures performed consist of the following:
- Cardiac monitoring
- Titration of vasoactive medications
- Mechanical ventilation
- Defibrillation/cardioversion
- Intracranial pressure monitoring (ICP)
- External pacing
- Temporary pacing
- 12 Lead EKG
- Arterial lines
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- SPO2 monitoring
- IABP monitoring
- ACT monitoring
- Hemodialysis
