Catawba Valley Medical Center (CVMC) recently recognized Missy Duty, Human
Resources Generalist in the Human Resources (HD) department, as the December
2010 CARE employee of the month.
A fellow employee made the following remarks when nominating Ms. Duty for
the recognition: “Recently I had a particularly difficult issue
to address and went into the HR Department for assistance. Missy met me
at the door and encouraged me to share my situation. She personally helped
me resolve my questions on the spot. In this day of just doing what is
needed, her willingness to go above and beyond is very refreshing. Her
helpfulness is an unbelievable attribute and this facility is extremely
lucky to have her.”
