HICKORY, NC – Dec 15, 2014 – Catawba Valley Medical Group (CVMG) announced today that Julia
Nell Alexander, PA-C, MSHS has joined its experienced team of providers at
Catawba Valley Family Medicine – Southeast Catawba in the Denver area.
Alexander is a certified Physician Assistant, who attended Xavier University
in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was chosen as a Winter-Cohen Family Brueggeman
Fellow participating in a community nutrition project in Kenya. Upon graduating
Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, Alexander joined Americorps
in 2010 as a trip assistant for the Urban Academic Service Learning Semester
in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2012 she entered George Washington University’s
graduate program in Washington, DC where she completed her Master of Science
in Health Sciences in May 2014.
“With her extensive volunteer background proving a passion for serving
others coupled with her intellect and zest for life, Julia is sure to
